Skeleton Diorama Boxes

Our Mexican Day of the Dead skeleton dioramas, (also known as shadow boxes and cajitas de muertos) are handmade in Puebla by Enrique Muñoz. This is authentic Dia de Los Muertos folk art. Take a look at the detail in Enrique's clever cantina scenes, pool halls, bride and grooms, mariachi players and cemetery scenes. Note that each box is one of a kind. There are variations on the box color (red or blue) and details of the figures inside the box, for example, the color of Frida's dress, or the images on the back wall behind the mariachi players. The box you receive may not exactly match the one shown in the photos, but it will certainly be clever, inspiring and unique.
