Secure Shopping

For your security, orders submitted through our website are encrypted with SSL technology on both the client and server end. Your information sent via the Internet can be trusted to arrive privately and unaltered, to our server only. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of all the web pages in our shopping cart.

Please note that E-mail is not encrypted, and is not considered a secure means of transmitting credit card numbers. If you're concerned about ordering online, you can always place your order by calling 617-983-5075, from 10:00 A.M. - 10:00 P.M. (Eastern Time) 7 days a week.

The Magic of Cookies

We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a visitor's hard drive to help us improve your shopping experience on our site and to identify repeat visitors to our site. For example, if you place items in the shopping cart but do not immediately complete the purchase, the items will still be there waiting for you if you return to the cart later in the day. This is accomplished through the use of cookies. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users. Shoppers who come to our website through clicking an ad on a Google search page are also tracked by cookies. This is to determine whether the user makes a purchase or not. The cookie that Google adds to a user's computer when he/she clicks on an ad expires in 30 days. This measure, and the fact that Google uses separate servers for conversion tracking and search results, protects the user's privacy.

Users who don't wish to participate in tracking activities can easily disable cookies by setting their Internet browser user preferences. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

Links to Third Party Sites

Our web site may contain links to other web sites operated and maintained by third parties, over which we have no control. Privacy policies on such linked sites may be different from our privacy policy. Accessing linked sites is at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a linked site before disclosing any personal information on such sites.
