Feria Maestros del Arte - The Feria, a Mexican and U.S. non-profit organization, hosts an annual Mexican indigenous and folk art show in Japala, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The feria offers artists a venue to sell their art at no charge to them. For many, the sales they make at the feria are the largest part of their annual income. The artists do not pay any fees or percentage of sales. In Japala, they are hosted by local families, fed and given assistance with their transportation costs.
