Each coco mask is hand-made and hand-painted by Nahua indian craftsmen in the state of Guerrero. The faces are made from hollowed-out halves of coconut shells, decorated with seed pods and other dried plant materials. The masks are painted with bright, glossy acrylic paints. Masks measure about 6 to 8 inches across.
The dolls are made with heavy-weight canvas material that is similarly hand-painted. Dolls measure about 16 inches tall.
